This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan, this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

A highlight of the Wander is this view over the Manning River valley from Newbys Lookout.
Route note
MNCW caches in the range 112 to 116 are along Fords Road which, though well potholed, carries a surprising amount of traffic. Some loggers also use Fords Road to access their coupes.
All caches are placed near convenient pull-offs or where you can safely draw to the side of the road.
The locale
Cattle properties front Fords Road through to Juhles Mountain Road. Mudbrick Cottage is now closed.

200 mL Sistema. Right side of road – just pull into cattle yard entrance on the left when approaching cache. Good for kids but watch them on the road.
