Theodolite Fish Haunt is in the Kinkuna Fish Habitat Area is a near pristine estuarine fisheries habitat that directly adjoins the beautiful Burrum Coast National Park. This is a great location for a relaxing day or for recreational fishermen to pass the time away.
The Theodolite Fish Haunt inshore nursery area for fish and crustaceans; barramundi, bream, estuary cod, flathead, garfish, grey mackerel, mangrove jack, sea mullet, school mackerel, tailor, whiting, anguillid eels, luderick, banana prawns, king prawns, mud crabs. This habitat is enhanced by the Mangrove forests dominated Avicennia and Ceriops species, intertidal sand and gravel bars and open beach habitats. It’s only a short walk to Woodgate via the beautiful sandy beach.
