50 Feet North of The "Exact" Center Mystery Cache

Cache is not located at the above coordinates. The ammo can is located 50 feet north of the geographic center of the 10 acre SWFWMD parcel that is pretty much surrounded by Hillsborough River State Park property. See photo below for the actual cache location.

In order to determine the cache location obtain additional information from outside sources. Among other places, the information is available for free on the internet from a federal government website. Once you have some additional map information you will need to compute the coordinates of the cache location. Some methods are a lot easier than others. This will test your map reading skills, you may even learn something. Be sure to zoom in on the appropriate map to get the best results.

Published coordinates represent a convenient place to park. Signing the log will require about a mile and a half of hiking and bushwhacking. The route could be dry during the winter months but will probably be quite moist other times of the year.
