Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a plan I have to hide 2 new caches every month for all of 2012 in the Upper Yorke Peninsula. One will come out on the 1st of the month and will be a traditional cache and the other one will come out on the 15th of the month and will be another type (such as puzzle, multi, etc). Each cache I place in the series will have the logo you see here on it so that you know which ones are part of the series.

Country Mail services have improved over the years now we can expect a letter or package to arrive roughly as quick as people in the city and for only 60¢ not a bad effort considering the postal service handle around 5.1 billion mail items every year according to there 2009-2010 annual report.

Most people in town have the luxury of a letter box out the front of their house where they get their mail delivered but once you are out of the town most times they have a PO Box at the nearest post office or sometimes if there is a delivery service out there they will drop off to a corner that will have boxes for 4 or more nearby farms. I guess this is fair enough as it could be a long day if you had to travel all the back roads of Australia finding all the out of the way places just to hand over their latest power bill.

Please when finished put it back with the bit that says top on it facing up will make it fit better and have it ready for the next person.

-: EXTRA INFO :-
At each of the caches I will place over the next 12 months you will be able to find a small clue that will be used in finding a future cache. This will be either in the cache, on the cache or within a few meters of it so keep an eye out for it while finding the cache. It will be in the form of A=? B=? And so on. This is not required to locate this cache but will be handy down the road.

Good luck
