Geocache Description:

This is the sixth cache to be located in Barnes Park near the Village of Eastport. Finders of all six cache will be entitled to a prize.

Barnes Park has a beautiful beach on Grand Traverse Bay. It also has many acres of woods laced with trails. Geocachers can use the trails to get to some of the caches or they can swim in the bay to find stage one of Deep Six. In winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails that can be used to reach several of the caches including Skiocache.

The cache is a small pathetically camouflaged container that only will hold only very tiny objects. Initial contents are: tiny petoskey stones, a tiny shell, a pencil and a log sheet. Geocachers should park at the campgrounds and use the trail system to get to the cache. The cache is just off Torch Lake Trail aka Waas Wagoning.
