Clang! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Seamus: As the previous logs suggest, Clang! has indeed been muggled. The top and contents had gone missing, and all that was left was half of the box and a plastic newt that had fallen into a nearby crack.

After much deliberation, we decided that this one had run its course, and it was time to take it down and let someone else have a shot at the hill. It's been a good run, and we really appreciate all the great logs and comments that people have left us regarding this cache.

Thanks for all the visits, and keep on caching!

Geocache Description:

This is a multi-step cache, in an interesting location. Placing this one was fun -- we hope you'll enjoy the placement as much as we did coming up with it.

This is a short multi-cache over easy terrain (slight hill near the end), in an interesting location. We didn't want it too easy though, so we were intentionally vague with some of the clues. We highly recommend bringing something reflective on this cache hunt. A small signal mirror or the music/data side of a CD should work fine.

Notes: While this cache location is near a couple of major highways, you should not have to enter traffic to complete this cache hunt. You will have to cross a street, but that's it. Consult a map before attempting this cache, as the approach by road can be a bit confusing. Please do not leave compasses, floppy disks, etc. in this GeoCache. The reason for this restriction will become apparent when you find it.

Start: The first clue is at the listed coordinates. While informative, the clue may not be immediately obvious to people of average height.
CLUE: Ybbx qbja gb ybbx hc.

Part 2: You can check your GPS unit's altitude reading on the way to the second clue. This part may be the most difficult to find, though it isn't hidden. (red dot)
CLUE: Ba n gerr, ng jnvfg yriry, snpvat njnl sebz gur genvy.

Part 3: Don't forget to wave. You'll know the cache box when you've found it. Please be sure to re-hide the box as you found it, to keep it hidden.
CLUE: Frrx furygre.

Note: This cache was the launching point for 'Miccosukee', a toy bear who is trying to make it south to Lake Miccosukee, Florida. You can track his travels here.
