Ross River Power Trail - Owl Landing
Townsville is blessed with a great river, and some fantastic cycling/walking trails that follow almost the entire length of the river.
What better way to encourage cachers to get out and explore these trails but to line them with caches to form Townsville's first Power Trail. Caches will be within 1 - 5 meters from the trail so they will be accessible to all including wheel bound (chair or pram).
Caches will be various types depending on the hide and will be between 161 and 200 meters apart.
You need to be careful when walking down to the Owl Landing. The embankment is steep, but more improtantly, you ill scare away the owls.
(NOTE: Yes, I know the Tawny Frogmouth is not really an Owl. They are 9 and 11, and it looks Owl enough for them)
