This cache was placed on Mother's day and is dedicated to my mother, Joyce Watson, who enjoyed our impromptu bbq and devonshire tea experience on Mother's Day 2013. We always try to celebrate occasions by finding a beautiful area of the river to picnic beside. This one is a favourite. The beautiful Paradise and Wattle Tree Beaches are nearby.
Updated
This is the second cache we have placed but the first in our home area. The cache is accessible by foot, pedal or car and is a 1.5 litre systema container.
To find the cache you need to answer the following questions.
A: How many letters in the name of the river that you are looking at?
B: Looking North along the river in which direction [left or right] does the bend turn? Count the number of letters in your answer
C: What is the name of the closest town? Count the number of letters in your answer
D: How many letters in my mother's name?
The cache is located at
S 35 55.[D-B-A][C+2]A E 145 40.3[C-A][A-B]
I had to average the coordinates as the GPS was somewhat unreliable due to tree cover but it should take you within 5m of the cache.
Be careful wandering through here. Look out for snakes and prickles [but also remember to look up to see the koalas!] Ground Zero has changed due to constant flooding in the previous area. The relocated cache is now near another picnic area with bbqs and toilet. Make sure you hide the cache well as the lid is definitely not a camouflage colour!
Have fun!
