Magic Forest LT is located in northern part of Vilnius. It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Vilnius.
Area of Magic Forest LT is about 475 000 square meters. Huge pines, firs, oaks, birches and other magnificent trees grows in this place. Magic Forest LT is not the largest forest in the Lithuania, and not the the largest in Europe, and for sure not the largest forest in the world.
For hundreds of years, the area has been continuously inhabited by lithuanians who built Vilnius town around the forest. The Baltupiai people considered the Magic Forest LT a holy site and organised sacred ritauls at this place.
Magic Forest LT is one of the Vilnius premier natural attractions, attracting about four thousand visitors per year. Overall, 71% were from the Lithuania, 29% were from outside the Lithuania; the most prominently represented nations were the Poland (12.9%), Russia (8.7%), Latvia (4.1%) and Germany (2.3%) and others (1%). Casual sightseeing, hiking, runnig and bike tours are especially popular.
All stages of this multicache are not far away from a path, so you don't need to go through difficult terrain. It is recomended to start from Stage 1, but of course you can choose your own route. After your visit, please leave all stages and final container in the same way as you found them. Camouflage, if you think it will help to secure multicache parts from muggles.
