The Cache is located off the bike path on the way to Nashville State School in the Third Lagoon Reserve. The Third Lagoon Wetland Reserve is an ecologically significant bushland area while also offering a diverse range of recreational opportunities. Third Lagoon is one of the most extensive reed beds within the Brisbane City.
The principal vegetation communities are reeds, melaleuca and scribbly gum eucalypts. The wetland lagoon is an important bird breeding and roosting site for wetland wader birds such as egrets and magpie geese
The Cache is an eclipse tin and contains a pen & logbook and a keyring swap. There is a bike path there but you would have to travel a few metres into the grass to grab the cache. There is a TB attached as a FTF prize. Happy caching!
