By now if you have been following the geokids obsession you will know that there are an amazing array of buildings, creations, biomes and mobs within the game. However as with all things technology we the user always wants more, right? Well that is where Mods (Modifications) enter the equation. There are literally thousands of modifications available for this game which would blow your mind. Mods which introduce a wide range of new animals, mods to build trains, boats, planes and many many more. One mod that the geokid really has enjoyed is called Tekkit. It brings together some of the best mods from the gaming community for automating, industrializing and powering worlds and bundles them into one easy download!
Equivalent Exchange is one of the main mods included in Tekkit Classic. It is based around alchemy/magic and the mod adds in a number of extremely powerful end-game items. These require large quantities of diamond to make and large quantities of fuel items to power such as Glowstone or Redstone, to name but a few. It also grants the ability to easily condense materials into more valuable forms.
EMC, which stands for Energy-Matter Currency, is the basic form of exchanging items in Equivalent Exchange. There are many different methods of obtaining EMC, such as using an Energy Condenser to condense items into more valuable ones. Another method is to use Energy Collectors which create EMC from sunlight or artificial light, like glowstone. This EMC can be used by a variety of different objects, such as charging and using EE Power Items and various Dark Matter and Red Matter tools.
Basically Tekkit takes the game to an all new level and is very exciting and challenges the creative mind.

Cache is 1L size with log, pen and swaps. We started it off with 2 TBs. ***SNAKE WARNING*** Whilst out seeking a location for this cache I almost trod on a brown snake. Lucky I was going slow and watching my feet. He was about 70m from where this cache is located as I backtracked from his home near a tree. He was out sunning himself after recent rains. Please exercise great caution with geokids and dogs as snakes are waking up. Solid walking shoes/boots and gaiters are highly recommended.
