Copied from Wikipedia: "Narrabundah: A Site Marker 1998 Susie Bleach & Andrew Townsend. This Site Marker refers to Narrabundah's social history. Narrabundah means 'little hawk' in the language of the local indigenous people. The steel elements, power poles and pebble mosaic refer to the European construction workers who made Narrabundah their home in the 1950s."
