Around the cache is a toddler-friendly playground, toilet block, drinking fountains, basketball court, open grassy spaces and shady spots to sit. The bikeway leading off the playground shortly joins the Kedron Brook Bikeway and passes through Lutwyche, Gordon Park, Wooloowin, Kedron, Albion, Nundah, Northgate and Nudgee one way and Grange/Alderley, Stafford, Enoggera and Michelton in the other direction. Adjacent to the park is the bowls club, and across the road is a public library with an adventure playground for older children and a cafe. There is a car parking area which can be accessed from Evelyn Street.
The cache is hidden in a tiny black screw-top container, about 1cm in diameter and is about 4cm long. You may need tweezers or a small finger to retrieve the log. A pencil is in the cache, please notify me in your online log if it (or the log) needs sharpening or replacing. t is concealed off the ground, balanced precariously, so please post a 'needs maintenance' log if it is found on the ground.
