Geocache Description:

The MMCC series (Multi Media Chesterfield Caches) is a group of caches launched Summer 2014 in and around Chesterfield, all based on a multimedia theme. These celebrate a variety of media storage such as film, tape, DVD or written material, and media transmission such as internet and radio waves. In some cases the cache container will be themed accordingly so expect variety.

Each of the 7 caches will contain a clue to reveal the location and hint of the final 8th MMCC cache.

This cache has been situated at the bottom end of town alongside Queens Park, and placed with the kind permission of the local council. It is not in the main park itself but along the tree-lined path below, and away from play areas, car parks and roads, basically middleish. Although it's rather secluded here and you can see each way that no one is coming, there is a footbridge nearly overhead where you could be spotted caching by muggles on foot or cycles, and a path emerges from the main park very close to GZ so watch out.

The container is a small camouflaged plastic pot tied onto the back of a tree, containing a log sheet and pencil, but be gentle as these branches can be quite delicate. The cache was originally in another tree which came down in a storm, that 'tree' is now just a metre tall stump covered in lots of ivy. The new location is the next large ivy-covered tree just a few metres further away from the footbridge overhead.
Well done to Toshack61 whose First To Find file has been saved and backed-up for the original cache.

This cache was originally themed on yet another form of media connectivity, USB sticks, although there's currently no theming on this replacement due to lack of parts. Other USB devices can store photos, videos, music, text documents and pretty much anything else computerised you can think of.

There are now all 7 standard caches published in the MMCC series, along with the bonus one. Make sure you find the others and note the bonus clue codes in order to find number 8. All the clue codes for the bonus are written or printed somewhere about the cache containers and are in the format of 'i = 1' or 'ii = 2' etc. (The real clues are not actually 1 and 2 though!).

Here are the links to the other caches in the series:

MMCC (i) - 'The Reel Hollywood' at Linacre Reservoir

MMCC (ii) - 'Read All About It' at Poolsbrook Country Park

MMCC (iii) - 'D-elve V-ery D-iscreetly' at Holmebrook Valley Park

MMCC (v) - 'V-ery H-idden S-tash' at Linacre Reservoir

MMCC (vi) - 'Smile Please' at Poolsbrook Country Park

MMCC (vii) - 'Turn On, Tune In, Tapton' at Tapton Park

... And the bonus 8th cache when you've found the first seven:
