Because I myself have a young family, I wanted to create a family-friendly geocache. The terrain and difficulty rating are low (to retrieve the cache, you will need to go off the path a wee bit though). The container size is large. The topic is fun!! DINOSAUR TRAIN!! After a short hike and cache "find", there are opportunites to explore the trail, toss rocks into the ravine or play at the local parks (you will find a park on either end of the trail: Riley St. - Rockcliffe Gardens Park / Hollybush Dr. - Belmont Park). Make memories! Please - keep in mind there are MANY directions for muggles to view you, so please be stealthy & camouflage as found. With this in mind I give you my Waterdown Paleontologist Geocache.

In support of this call to action, The Jim Henson Company has hidden Dinosaur Train themed geocaches nationwide with the help of local PBS stations and geocachers. Each geocache celebrates the dinosaurs featured in the Dinosaur Train Field Guide on the PBS Kids website. This geocache is a paleontologist geocache. Since it is our first Dinosaur Train cache, we decided to feature a variety of dinos!!
