THE CACHE

Please: You will have to move just one rock to retrieve the cache. No need to move anymore, easy one, not the heavy ones. Try to leave it as you found it, please :)

THE SYMOND'S STEERT CEMETERY

Symonds Street Cemetery was the first official cemetery in Auckland, in use from 1842 (the year when our first governor died). Originally it was divided into four sections for Anglicans, Catholics, Jews, and a shared Presbyterian, Wesleyan, and general section. Not even death they wanted to be mixed. It has a Historic Place with many important burials on site, so do not miss this oportunity to discover this part of town. You will not regreat!... or yes...!!!

EXTRA! = The starting point is right next to the grave of William Hobson, the first governor of New Zealand. Not everyday you could say that you were geocaching near such an important location!

THE CACHE

Dear Geocachers, this time a present you a Night Cache for you to enjoy this amazing part of the city center of Auckland after the sun sets . The coordinates indicate the starting point of the night tour through the Symond Street Cemetery. From this starting point, using a flashlight , look for the path indicated with reflective pins on trees or street items. I tried to locate most of them about two meters above the ground , but sometimes I had to place them lower due to the vegetation.
I wanted to locate the final cache in the middle of the cemetery but due to other caches proximity I had to place it quite near to a street. Please try to be act as normal as you can, taking on mind the fact that you will be exploring a cemetery with torch lights in the middle of the night ;)

HAPPY SPOOKY HUNTING!!
