Royale with Cheese Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Toy Hunters: Upon coming back to GZ today to do further maintenance I reassessed my thinking and thought now is the right time to archive the cache. The area is less appealing now due to floods, mud, rubbish, and overgrown vines. I don't think the container (the one I won through the Scouts) is that waterproof anymore considering the log bag was a bit wet only a few days after it had been replaced. I'm also always looking to remove my older to hides so that I am able to prioritise my maintenance of newer hides. Thanks to everyone who found this one. I loved your logs, especially the Pulp Fiction related ones.

"I think we should be leaving now"

"Yeah, that's probably a good idea"

Geocache Description:

Acknowledgement of Country: I would like to pay my respects to the First People: the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways of Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri Country. I would like to acknowledge that this geocache has been placed on what always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

The cache is not located at the posted coordinates, however to find the correct coordinates for the cache, you will have to solve a small puzzle about one of my favourite movies - Pulp Fiction! Oh yeah, as for the title, look it up for a good laugh!

During the early 1990s, young movie maker Quentin Tarantino was beginning to develop a personal direction and writing skill that distinguished him as one of the most unique film artists of the era. He was already becoming known for creating non-linear stories, with lots of blood, cursing, feet, a nostalgic soundtrack, an all star cast and really entertaining dialogue, which were all homages to his favourite films. With his second film, Pulp Fiction, he created what is now regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. As the winner of the 1994 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, this crime film is endlessly quotable and absurdly entertaining, despite its dark and offensive content. The film drives on really well written dialogue instead of action, which makes you intrigued all the way throughout the three intertwined stories. The film changes the traditional pulp genre and creates a unique movie structure that also has a strong and in-depth message regarding the concepts of 'Deus Ex Machina', freak occurrences, faith and redemption. The dark humour and themes may turn people off, however for any film lover out there, I would definitely recommend it!

To find the coordinates, you will need to solve the attached image puzzle. You will need to do some very minor research about Pulp Fiction in order to solve it. If you need assistance with the puzzle, let me know and I will be more than happy to provide hints.

The cache container is a mega bison that I won as part of a geocaching competition with the Scouts. Out of every scout in the ACT during 2013, I found the most geocaches during the time period, meaning that I won a really cool prize pack, which included a new GPS, a geocoin and this container - please take care of my reward! The cache containers a small logbook and a couple of small swaps - remember to BYOP! It is located in a nice little spot that is easily accessible from nearby parking spots.

So grab your BMF wallet, eat your Big Kahuna Burger and have fun!
