This multi cache is designed to take you to one of the best views in the Blue Mountains. To get to Baltzer Lookout you will need to either do a round trip walk of about 10km along a fire trail or alternatively ride a mountain bike along this recently graded trail. Once at the lookout you can admire the great view but an even better one can be had if you follow the steep and eroded track down to Hanging Rock. Care must be taken once you reach the lookout and walk down to Hanging Rock as there are no fences and big drops. For this reason geokiddies would need to be carefully supervised at the lookout and we wouldn’t recommend taking them down to Hanging Rock. Don’t forget to bring your camera.
