Swamp Walk 6 – Wooden Walkway Traditional Cache

The area around GZ is usually quite dry but turns into a stream with decent amounts of rain in this small catchment. The flora in the area is mainly populated with paperbark trees and vines. 

This cache contains a ‘CLUE’ on the log for the bonus mystery cache, “Secrets Of The Swamp” GC72GN4 Complete all 6 ‘Swamp Walk’ caches to obtain clues for the bonus mystery cache.

A small wooden walkway has been built here as part of a walking trail that used to exist in this area. It has been replaced now with a concrete path that leads to the nearby shelter shed, but this boardwalk, as well as another further along the trail, remain as remnants of the swamps recreational progress. Although the boardwalks are not used as frequently any longer, they can come in handy if water is covering the path or if the area is muddy from recent rain.
