Turn off on Oak Beach Road then left onto Oak st. Drive to the end where you will find a Council car park. The Garioch reef is directly in front of Oak beach & is a great fishery close to the coast where big fish are caught all year round. Oak Beach is a 1.5 km palm-fringed tropical haven with an inner coral reef at one end and World Heritage listed rainforest behind. Renowned for its privacy and exclusivity, Natalie Imbruglia was married at Oak Beach in 2002 and a house in Oak st was built as a retreat for Peter Allen. This spot is on the same latitude as Tahiti, average temperatures are 23°C-31°C (73°F-88°F) Nov-Jan and 18°C-26°C (64°F-78°F) May-Aug.
