El Lugar
Puerto Frías, es la última parada en el cruce a Chile por los lagos. El muelle está ubicado en el margen sur del Lago Frías y recibe a las embarcaciones que parten de Puerto Alegre en el margen norte. Aquí los pasajeros abordan un colectivo que hace el viaje hasta el pueblo chileno Peulla.
La zona está ubicada al pie de la Cordillera de los Andes, por lo que en ella se registra una copiosa precipitación pluvial producto de los vientos húmedos que soplan la mayor parte del año desde el océano Pacífico, existiendo registros de 3500 mm anuales de precipitación. En invierno es la época de mayor registro de precipitaciones, y es el sitio de la República Argentina con mayores registros anuales de precipitaciones.
The Place
Puerto Frias, is the last stop at the crossing to Chile by the lakes. The pier is located on the southern shore of Lake Frías and receives boats departing from Porto Alegre on the north bank. Here passengers board a group that makes the trip to the Chilean town of Peulla.
The zone is located at the foot of the Mountain range of the Andes, reason why it registers a copious rainfall product of the humid winds that blow most of the year from the Pacific Ocean, existing records of 3500 mm annual precipitation. In winter it is the time of greater record of precipitations, and is the site of the Argentine Republic with greater annual records of precipitations.
Se trata de un cache virtual cuyas coordenadas corresponden a una instalación artística que recuerda el paso, en el año 1952, de un famoso personaje argentino que llegara a este sitio, de camino a Chile, en una ruidosa y vetusta moto, y que con el tiempo se convertiría en una pieza fundamental de la historia americana.
Para reclamar este caché virtual, todo lo que necesita hacer es:
- Publica una foto de ti mismo, preferiblemente con tu GPS (pero sé que muchos de ustedes usan su teléfono / cámara como GPS) con la instalación detrás tuyo mientras estás en las coordenadas indicadas o por lo menos muy cerca de ellas),
- Encuentra un monolito con una cruz, cercano a las coordenadas, en cuyo frente hay una placa de bronce y envíame el nombre grabado en ella por correo electrónico o mensaje a través de geocaching.com.
Por favor, no publiques ninguna foto del nombre. Los registros que no cumplan los requisitos, se pueden eliminar. The Cache
It is a virtual cache whose coordinates correspond to an artistic installation that recalls the passage, in 1952, of a famous Argentinean character who arrived at this place, on his way to Chile, on a noisy and old bike, and with the Time would become a cornerstone of American history.
To claim this virtual cache, all you need to do is:
