Highfields Falls is a great place to visit after good rainfall. Although it may get a bit slippery in parts. There are three walks that are connected, the Highfields circuit, the Waterfalls walk and the Ballantyne Circuit. The walks are relatively short but very pleasant and with many photo opportunities, please leave the pooches at home.
The circuits take you on a scenic loop walk, with some zig zags, a creek crossing, some steps and stepping stones. Keep your eyes peeled in the Park as it has many interesting types of birds, koalas and while placing the cache we saw a 3 metre goanna (you don’t want a bite from these guys). All in all should take around 35 minutes to walk from one side and back again.
This cache puts you at the bottom of the falls with the path going across the creek on some very large boulders.
FTF award goes to the Geo~Gypsies
The cache is a large camo painted container big enough for plenty of swaps.
