N is for NIGHTCACHE!

N is for St Ninian's Cave St Ninian is the first Christian missionary to Scotland whose name is known. He built a church at Whithorn, was bishop there and died in 431. The cache is not at the posted coordinates There you will find the car park This one is intended as a night cache so don't forget your torch, however it may be possible to do it in the day for those with eagle eyes. To find the cache first park your vehicle then follow the signs to St Ninian's Cave. Please behave in a quiet and respectful manner as the parking is close to private residences. When you arrive at Stage one waypoint you should see the first reflector in the tree above you. After this you will follow the reflectors until you see a green one. At the base of this tree you will find an important clue to the whereabouts of the cache. Next you follow the red reflectors until you see another green one which indicates your second clue. Now that you have all the info you can follow the trail down to the cache. The walk is on a well defined trail that can be very muddy in wet weather so suitable footwear is recomended. Only for the last few meters will you have to leave the trail to find the cache. Happy hunting! The cache itself is not in St Ninian's cave but we highly recommend a visit there I have added a waypoint for it but beware the tide does get quite close to there
