Interesting fact: The location where we had this event is called MaRS. This is a scientific and technology research hub in downtown Toronto. It took a little sleuthing but we determined that MaRS stands for "Medical and related Sciences". The original intent of MaRS was to focus on medical sciences. As the facility was being built, the focus expanded to included technology companies and organizations.
