A Monday evening event.
Up to 10 souvenirs (representing the eight planets, Pluto and a meta souvenir) are available from March 19 to April 8 as part of the 'Planetary Pursuit' promotion by Groundspeak. Basically, you need to find 100 caches during that three week period to qualify for all 10 souvenirs. Harder caches (multicaches, letterboxes, unknowns and earth caches) count double or even triple. Also, events count triple, so just by attending this event you will actually qualify for the first TWO souvenirs! More details can be found at the Planetary Pursuit Launch Support page. We'll also chat about the details of the promotion at this event with anyone who is interested.
The event will be held at Gianni's Pizza beginning at 6PM on Monday, March 19 and will continue until 7PM.
Note that this event is open to all geocachers. You don't need to plan to participate in the Planetary Pursuit souvenir promotion to attend, but just by attending you will qualify for the Earth and Venus souvenirs!
