This event will help you earn points and souvenirs for your

Planetary Pursuit

Join us as we explore some outta-this-world Peruvian food and learn about the astronomical phenomenon:

The Nazca Lines

(A UNESCO World Heritage Site)

We'll ponder on how these geoglyphs came to be.  Did the Nazca people design them between 500 BC and 500 AD for their Gods?  Were they designed by or for aliens? Or were they carefully engineered geometric lines that would indicate the flow of water, irrigation schemes, or be a part of rituals to "summon" water, where the spiders, birds and plants were fertility symbols. Or were they part of some astronomical calendar? 

We may not come up with a conclusive answer, and if we don't discover the mystery of these geo-glyphs, we'll certainly talk about geo-caching!
