The 103rd Surrey Event returns to the Shepherd and Flock in Farnham, combined with the 3rd Surrey/Hants Border Event and not forgetting our friends from Berkshire and further afield.
An opportunity to meet and greet other cachers from the local area, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire and perhaps further afield over a glass beer and some good pub grub.
On THURSDAY 21st June 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at:
The Shepherd and Flock Public House
Moor Park Lane,
Shepherd and Flock Roundabout,
The Pub is a familiar landmark as it is in the middle of a very busy roundabout on the A31/A325. Take care as you arrive - you have to get into the lane nearest the roundabout and then turn into a short slip road which guides you onto the wrong side of the road - fortunately it is a only a narrow lane serving the Pub and a few houses. Take similar care when you leave.
The pub management have been very welcoming, but would obviously like to have some idea of numbers and particularly those who want to eat. You don't need to choose your meal, but it would help if you could indicate if you expect to eat in your Will Attend logs.
The menu for the food can be found on the pubs website at https://www.shepherdandflock.co.uk/food-and-drink/
The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex & Hampshire meets and are normally held on the 3rd or 4th Thursday of every month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey.
Caches : There are plenty of nearby caches, including one within a few yards of the Pub and others nearby in Farnham, Badshot Lea and Aldershot.
Geocoins/TBs: There will be the normal opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins.
If you wish to host a Surrey midweek meet, please contact either SuperDred or Froudster through their profiles. For further meet information about geocaching events click below for BaSHful's page below.
