CITO and Earn a CITO 2019 Season 1 Souvenir

Time: 9:30 - 10:30 AM
Tips for a successful CITO:
- Dress appropriately for the weather.
- Wear sturdy, closed-toed footwear. We will be doing the CITO on a slope.
- Bring gloves, a hat, sunscreen, and water.
- Do not touch unknown items, syringes, glass or other sharp objects. Mark the coordinates and let me know the location.
- Leave natural materials behind (leaves, deadwood, bones, etc).
- If working near a pathway, be careful of cyclists, runners and walkers.
- Do not remove large items (bikes, tires, sleeping bags, etc). Mark the coordinates and let me know the location.
- Take breaks. Drink water and wash or sanitize your hands before having a snack.
- Place used trash bags beside the existing City of Calgary garbage can, near the posted coordinates.
- Please return to the posted coordinates at 10:30 am for a group picture.
Plastic gloves and bags will be provided to those who log a "Will Attend" online by Thursday April 11. If you do not log in advance, please provide your own.
