Geocache Description:

The Alien Artifact series is designed to highlight the significant alien activity in the Greater Dandenong area during the Mid-twentieth century. Most people living in the area are unaware of the relics and history which is just on their doorstep. At each cache you will need to collect the clue to decipher the coordinates for the final "Aerials":

Alien Artifacts 1 - Beacons
Alien Artifacts 2 - Annihilation
Alien Artifacts 3 - Water
Alien Artifacts 4 - Area 51
Alien Artifacts 5 - Oxygen
Alien Artifacts 6 - Glass
Alien Artifacts Final - Aerials

Good luck and be careful out there - scientists haven't been able to determine if the alien activity has completely ceased.......

Even though oxygen is not required for aliens to exist, certain races of aliens (particularly those in the Viridia galaxies who were building a "New World") used oxygen extensively in their vast glass constructions. The oxygen gave the glass an uncanny strength against the effects of gravity and also a beautiful sheen - technology that the human race has not mastered yet. In full view at the posted coordinates you will see the huge containers the aliens used in the 1950's to store the oxygen they had harvested from our atmosphere. You will also see large machinery plant nearby that filtered the unwanted molecules out of our air and extracted the precious oxygen into the containers. This oxygen was then piped underground to nearby facilities where the glass was constructed.

The containers (which have a radius of 6.065 metres) were called ELGA's by the aliens (Extra-terrestrial Living Gas Accumulators) and are unused today but are preserved thanks to the Greater Dandenong Alien Historical Society.

The cache:

Find the glass facility and you will find the cache. The Glass Facility is located at:
