This cache is near a local noodle restaurant that also has many other dishes. It is open around lunchtime, but the cache is available 24-7. This cache is the first in a series of caches around a typical Chiang Mai suburb.
Please put it back in the protective concrete structure when you find it.
You will have to cross the street from the restaurant and venture into the jungle to find this cache.
A Typical Chiang Mai Neighbourhood Cache Series
This geocache series is a work in progress, but it aims to show you around typical Chiang Mai neighbourhoods in Wat Ket area, and East of Wat Ket. Instead of taking you to the usual tourist locations, this cache series seeks to show you the quieter side of Chiang Mai. Small neighbourhoods of houses off of the busy roads (The Library Cache 2.0) and a noodle shop restaurant popular with the locals (The Noodle Shop Cache) will give you a taste of real life in Chiang Mai.
