Seawind: This area is now part of the Rainforest Preserve and evidently off-limits to dogs. I made the decision to remove Angora Turn and Pacific Heights and replace them with a new cache outside the Preserve, but still at a fantastic viewpoint. Watch for Pacific Heights 2!

Pacific Heights (499)

A cache at a spectacular viewpoint on the hike to Angora Peak.

COVID-19 status: The hike to this cache and on to Angora Peak is not closed due to Coronavirus. In fact, it is an excellent choice at this time due to the route being very little-traveled and mostly on a wide dirt road.

Red Alert! Red Alert! The log for this cache contains a big bonus: The exact coordinates of the puzzle cache, Forest Forever (500). This provides the opportunity for a "brawn" method of solving the puzzle, rather than the likely-demanding "brain" method.
