A lot happened this year.
2022 was the Year of the Hide, where cachers were encouraged to hide new caches or archive an old cache to allow someone else to hide a new one. Our local HAG event was even mentioned in an HQ blog post as an example of "refreshing the gameboard"!
Further into the year, some big events were finally held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of caching after being delayed by two years. The first Giga Event in Canada was held in Abbotsford, and then the HQ Celebration was held in Seattle a week later.
Throughout the year, new souvenirs were released for over 100 countries, awarded to cachers who had found a cache in each one. Did you get any of these new ones?

Let's meet at the Beaver Lake picnic shelter on Saturday December 31st from 10 am - noon. Some goodies will be available, and we'll do a raffle for a few prizes.
