This cache is the only way to visit the recently discovered "Haunted Chasm", which will sometimes contain an ankle-deep wade and other times will be bone dry. You will also find a mysterious gravel pile.
For this one you must begin your journey at the waypoint listed below. Walking straight to the posted coordinates will yield nothing.
From the waypoint you'll see two possible paths. To reach the cache you'll need to use the path on the left. Continue a very short distance to the first chamber. Stand up and stretch your legs....you'll need it. Continue following the path (to the right...although it's your only option) for about 400'.
Enjoy your journey into the dark underworld. This tunnel is mostly insect, spiderweb, and gunk free....but it is very long and will be a good quad workout. Luckily you can take breaks along the way without feeling too grossed out.
You will know you are close to Haunted Chasm when you begin to hear the thunderous sounds of nearby cars. The cache is a bison tube located on the opposite side of chasm (or pond depending on the day).
Note: You may get wet. A flashlight is REQUIRED (GZ is pitch black). Waterproof boots, gloves, and a "tunnel creeper" are optional commodities you might bring.
