To The End Of The Line! (HTS) Traditional Cache

Do not attempt after or during heavy rain. However, if the streets have been dry for a few hours, it should be fairly dry down here.

This cache is part of the Harrisonburg Tunnel Series, listed below easiest to hardest:

You MUST start at the posted waypoint, walking directly to the posted coordinates will yield nothing.

While this trek into the underworld is much longer than some of the other tunnel caches in the series, the tunnel itself is much larger, resulting in an overall easier journey. You will be able to stand (slightly bent) for the entire journey.

Directions:

1. At the posted waypoint labeled "Start Here", there are two possible tunnels. Take the tunnel on the right (not the one leading to "The Way to Haunted Chasm" cache) and follow it heading north.
    
2. Continue straight through two chambers. At the 3rd chamber, you will have your only legitimate choice on the journey. Take a left into the largest, metal tunnel.
    
3. The path significantly widens for the rest of the way to the cache. It may also be more slick on the metal sections. Use some caution.
   • Extra credit if you take a picture of the "2002" grafiti in the metal tunnel and include it in your log.
      
4. There is really only one way to go for the rest of the trip, but the tunnel will vear slightly left and right again at another two chambers.
    
5. GPS won't work well down here, but the bison tube is resting in the last "chamber" before the end of the tunnel. If you hit the end of the tunnel go back one chamber. The container is a gold bison tube resting above the protruding metal tunnel section around head level. Replace exactly as found.
