I am creating a new series of caches to honour the 2020 Olympic Women's Soccer Championship team from Canada. While the series honours the starting 11 the bonus cache of course had to honour the golden goal scorer herself. Julia Grosso was still an NCAA athlete with the Texas Longhorns at the time she scored the golden goal. She has 36 international appearances as of 2022 and despite having scored the biggest goal in Canadian Soccer history, because it was a penalty shoot out, she has yet to record an offical goal for Canada. No matter, that one shot will be remembered forever and she has plenty of time to score more in the future.
