Wallendbeen is the last remaining station between Harden and Cootamundra. Surviving as an a manned block post until recent years, it is now unattended and suffering accordingly. A once common design all over NSW of the up platform wooden station building, it is now part of the dwindling survivors in this. A platform mounted signal box still stands on the southern part of the up platform. Like many other locations on the main south, the complex was located to its present site in 1920 with the duplication to Junee. Contrast the care of the platforms with the pictures from 1987, and the present in 2011.
