I began fostering dogs during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had wanted to foster for years, but being stuck at home finally motivated me to get started. I had also just started volunteering in January that year, so fostering was a way to still contribute when we couldn't physically be in the shelter. This is a series of geocaches dedicated to the foster animals we have loved since then!
Cady was our third foster dog and we had her from June 21st through June 27th, 2020. At 4.5 months old, she is the youngest puppy we have brought home to date. She had demodectic mange but that didn't hold her back from being a darling and vivacious house guest. She was adorable no matter what she was doing, from napping to playing fetch in the backyard. She was medically cleared quickly and adopted.
