We will be camping at Kolomoki Mounds State Park the weekend of December 2-4; a historically significant park. Did you know that Kolomoki Mounds is the oldest and largest Woodland Indian site in the southeastern United states? Wow! We camped here back in 2016 & 6 years later it's time to return!
We're doing something different this month - we're hosting our campfire activity on FRIDAY NIGHT because we have BIG PLANS for Saturday December 3rd. Come and meet your Georgia Community Volunteer Reviewers on Saturday - they will be hosting Community Celebration Events:
20 Years! Celebrate with a fatkid! and
CCE - Meet Your Ga. Review Team - A Fireside Chat
Important: Covid-19 Guidelines
Georgia Geo-Campers will observe social distancing guidelines with campsites at least 6 feet apart as well as distancing camp chairs around the campfire. Rather than hosting our traditional Stone Soup, campers will provide and prepare their own meals. You can use the main campfire to prepare your meals.
