Hyvin tehdyn mysteerikätkön ratkaiseminen voi tuntua taikuudelta, mutta silloin tällöin eteen tulee myös viritelmiä, joiden selvittäminen muistuttaa lähinnä manaamista. Aina se ensimmäinen luonnos mysteeri-ideasta ei ole sellaisenaan painokelpoinen, mutta pienellä säädöllä omasta mielestä hyvästä ideasta voi saada muidenkin mielestä hyvän idean.
Millainen sitten on hyvä mysteeri?
Sitä ja monia muita mysteereihin liittyviä kysymyksiä voi tulla ratkomaan Lippulaivan kirjaston (kauppakeskuksen 3. kerros) Salonkiin sunnuntaina 18.6.2023 kello 15–17. Paikan päällä pääsee tutustumaan muutamaan järjestäjien pöytälaatikoissa pölyttyneeseen mysteeriin. Näiden demonstraatioiden avulla käymme läpi eri mysteerilajeja, mysteerien laatimiseen liittyviä ohjenuoria ja yleisimpiä sudenkuoppia ja pohdimme, miten ne voitaisiin välttää.
Tapahtumassa saa toki kaavailla myös omia mysteerejään, ja päivän kolmelle “parhaimmalle” mysteeri-idealle on luvassa palkinto. Jos omat ideat ovat lopussa, voit myös kokeilla, löytyisikö mysteerigeneraattorista inspiraatiota.
Lippulaivaan pääsee kätevästi metrolla (Espoonlahden metroasema) sekä useilla busseilla. Pysäköinti Lippulaivan parkkihallissa on ilmaista ensimmäiset kaksi tuntia.

Solving a well-made mystery cache can feel like magic, but every now and then you may encounter one that feels more like a curse. Even the first drafts of your own ideas are not always perfect. With a bit of fine-tuning you can take something you think is a good idea to something others think is a good idea, too.
But what makes for a good mystery?
This and many other mystery-related questions can be discussed in Salonki at the Lippulaiva library (on the 3rd floor) on Sunday, June 18th from 3 pm to 5 pm. We will introduce you to the mystery-related cache guidelines and bring in a few of our own mystery caches to demonstrate different types of mystery caches, as well as some common mistakes often found in mystery caches and how to fix them. You can also plan and discuss your own mystery ideas – there is even a prize for the three “best” ideas of the day! Or if you’re out of ideas, perhaps our mystery idea generator can provide inspiration?
Unfortunately, most of the activities on site will be in Finnish only, but as we know, this is a fairly realistic challenge when solving mysteries.
Lippulaiva is easily reached by the metro (Espoonlahti station) or the bus. Parking at the Lippulaiva mall is free of charge for the first two hours.
