Geocaching Maker Magic event

Well this is something different for GC HQ to come up with and I for one think it's a good idea.

So I will be hosting an event where you will get the chance to make your own geocache to take home and thus hide a geocache you have made with your own fair hands.

As always all are welcome at geocaching events but this event would be perfect for new cachers wanting to learn a thing or two from the old guard, I think I class myself as one of these, having been caching for over 10 years I am always happy to share any knowledge I have picked up along the way. I'm sure this event will have other seasoned cachers attending who too will be willing to help out.

What you get :

You will have the chance to make your own 100mm PVC pipe cache, if time allows we will talk about other cache making techniques too. 

I will provide :

All you need to make a cache container, having looked at the cost of the parts I will need to ask for donations to cover costs. (Approx $10)

All tools and consumables needed to make the cache. 

BBQ lunch

When:

Saturday 17th June from 11am

This event will be partially outside so dress for June in Tassie, some time will be spent in a warm dry workshop.

This event will have you using tools and chemicals in a workshop environment, while I will do the upmost to ensure your health and safety it is your responsibility to ensure that you keep you and other attendees safe.
