Please join Jim "chaosmanor" Carleton's family and friends as we share our memories of his extraordinary life.
Jim and Sharon discovered geocaching through "Where's George?" They geocached as a team, finding their first geocache on June 5, 2001. In the ensuing years, they found many geocaches, hid many more, created innumerable memories, and, most importantly, made geocaching friends.
The photo Sharon used in his obituary was taken on November 22, 2018, at the geocache, "Shoreline Lake Trail #5...", GC1AK8Q. MommyX4 archived this geocache so we could set a geocache in his memory. Jim loved puzzle caches, birds, and hiking. As such, the geocache will be a puzzle requiring people to identify birds and hike (or bike) 3.6 miles roundtrip on fairly level terrain.
With this tongue-in-cheek statement in chaosmanor's profile, I presume that they are not stats-oriented. "And now some of the data and statistics that are all the rage, nowadays..."
However, most of us can relate to this one: Average "Found It Log -- 705 characters/133 words."
As a "fierce champion of the environment," Jim would have encouraged people to carpool. Lake Casitas provides a financial incentive to carpool by charging a $10.00 per vehicle entry fee.
