We're celebrating 25 years of Geocaching and Geocachers, and you're invited to help celebrate!!!
Camp MiGO has always been about Camping, Community, and Fun and this year we're celebrating 25 years of Geocaching and the community with even more activities and events for geocachers from around the world!
Come celebrate 25 years of Geocaching and the community of Geocaching HQ, reviewers, hiders, Charter Members and finders who make up the game we love! We have a full day of activities and a full calendar of events beginning on July 30, 2025. The main event takes place at the Deer Run Pavillion, at the Waterloo Recreation Area in Chelsea, Michigan.
The fun begins at 9:00am - Get your registration packet and start the fun
10 am - 2:00 pm - Visit the main stage for Geocaching presentations
Topics included: Cachly 8.x, Cachetur.no, How to build & submit a Challenge Cache,
Meet an Earthcache Reviewer and more…
10 am - 2:00 pm - Explore the midway! Geocaching History and activities will be presented in various ways
2:30 pm - Let them eat cake! What's a birthday celebration without cake?!
3:00pm - Closing Ceremonies, prizes awarded, tickets drawn.
4:00 pm - Event concludes

What to do before, and after the Event:
Events:
You can expect up to 8 events over 5 days, from July 30 through August 3. Come early and stay late. There is plenty to do. Some of these events will even be Community Celebrations!
Geocaches:
There are a lot of geocaches for you to find in the area, including 5 from the year 2000! We have more caches in the works and expect to release them during the event week. Different places and different times, so that everyone has a chance for an FTF!
Adventure Labs:
We are planning several new Adventure Labs for you to enjoy. Expect them to be published during the Event week.
Discounted Tours:
We are talking with area attractions to get Event discounts on popular tours. These will only be available during Event week.

Note: When logging your "Will Attend", please let us know if you are interested in camping. We are working with the MiDNR to reserve a block of camping sites in one of their campgrounds. This information will help us to know how many to reserve.
