It's Election Day, Geo-buddies!
Day off? Want a midday break? Lunchy get-together at these two newly-open places. All cachers, friends, family, neighbors, etc. welcome; it's good for all ages. Come for the duration or just pop in. Eat/drink/don't, your call.
Friendly patriotic/voting wear OK. Discussion of where & when you voted, how busy your polling place was, whether it had a bake sale, and other light, related topics are fine. Sharing stories of childhood mock votes, crazy things you've voted on in the past, and voting-themed caches welcome. Heated politi-talk very strongly discouraged. We want to keep being geo-buddies.
Bring your trackables to show off or share, plus your seasonal geocaching stories. Or just chat/commiserate about NoVACON
If you don't see us outside (weather & group size dependent - there are two or three picnic tables in the parking lot), you can't miss us inside - it's a shared but small space with good visibility. You can go inside through either establishment.
No purchase necessary. Should you wish to get anything, the coffee shop side has drinks and food and the ice cream shop side is self-explanatory. Please don't bring outside food to this one. No dogs inside.
Plenty of free parking right by the building.
Here are some of the many national election-themed caches out there (Googled; CO has not yet searched for any of these, although one or two of the challenges have been on the CO's radar):

When getting dessert there recently, got verbal permission from very friendly coffee-side manager Frank for get-togethers.
