One of the first caches I found was Two Miles & One Miner (GC1H5M). It was a an ammo can hidden in 2008. Last year I saw that it was archived with a note that the CO could no longer maintain the cache. Out of curiosity I stopped to see if the cache was still in place, and what do you know? That ammo can was still there and still firmly tethered in place! I took it as a sign that this spot was meant to have a cache. I reached out to the original CO to see if it was ok if I took over the location and the container, but they haven't visited the site in over 6 months. Add to that the nature of their archive note and I think they might have left the sport behind. I decided to go ahead and publish a new cache.
You are looking for a ammo can tethered down low in a small roadside park. Be careful accessing the location as there is no parking immediately adjacent to the park so you will have to cross the road to get to it and there is a drop off into the river nearby.
