Welcome to wonderful Taylor, Texas, home to the 2026 Texas Challenge! Taylor was founded 150 years ago as a railroad town that quickly became a hub for cotton and cattle markets. These days, Taylor is on the cusp of a major Renaissance thanks to a massive Samsung semiconductor facility on the west side of town. Prepare for a weekend where you'll experience a cool mix of nostalgic charm and vibrant excitement for the future!
We thought we'd start our Texas Challenge festivities with a good homestyle meal to welcome folks as they make their way to Taylor. The Texan Cafe has all that and more - including a Pie Case that has something for everyone. It's the perfect way to kick off a geocaching weekend that just happens to land on the mathematical marvel: Pi Day (3/14)! Coincidence? We think not! 🍰
