This cache is in the Brighton Recreation Area. There is a $6.00 admission to the park. The annual sticker is now $24.00.
Wow! Just checking back after much too much time has passed. I placed this cache something like 6 years ago, and people are still enjoying it, and maintaining it! Thanks so much! It has been fun reading all of the online logs. I especially liked the one about the hornets! Yeesh, I am sorry you folks had that much trouble. Glad the rangers got rid of them. I might get out there this week, to retrieve the log, and freshen up the cache. Sure sounds like it's due! Thanks to all who have contributed, and made this such a fun sport. The following text is the original from when I first hid this cache. Enjoy!
This cache is in the Brighton State Recreation Area. There is a $6.00 DAILY admission to the park. This time of year it is 'Self Registration'. That doesn't mean it's free! Don't take the chance. The entrance to the park is south off of Bishop Lake road west of Bauer road. The cache is hidden off of the trail. Some elevation changes should be expected. You are looking for an ammo box that has a 'Winter Camo' paint job. Everything inside is protected with plastic.
This is Team KnuckleHeads first cache. Took a couple of readings and decided the one provided will indeed be the closest. Hope this is as fun for you to find as it was for us to hide. Have Fun!
