Born in 1948, founding Black Sabbath in 1968, dropping his first solo album in 1980, and dying this year, John "Ozzy" Osbourne was a hero to me. I grew up listening to Black Sabbath and other Ozzy projects and to this day, I still listen to his music all the time. I think his voice was one of a kind, the music he helped create was original and impactful, and he was just an all-around awesome and funny guy. There will never be another Ozzy, and for that, the world is a little bit emptier.
To honor Ozzy I will be placing three high-altitude caches so he can "Fly High Again". This cache is up on Mineral Fork Peak, which I came up from the Mineral Fork trail. It's an awesome trail that isn't too strenuous until the last mile or so, which then gets very steep and scramble-heavy. You could also come up from the Lake Blanche area as well. Either way, be prepared for a long and difficult hike towards the end. The cache itself is an ammo can hidden at the base of a stout pine tree, under some rocks. Please rehide well, so it doesn't slip away.
There is a camera inside, please take a picture, BUT LEAVE THE CAMERA IN THE CACHE!
Cache contains some Ozzy S.W.A.G. and some other trinkets, as well as a pencil.
Inside the logbook is a code. Find all three Ozzy caches to find the final cache!
