Where might you take your Brown Paper Packages Tied up with String for shipping? Well, we had to go a bit out of town, since Fort Wayne has so many hot spots. This cache is near one of our favorite lake towns. We usually treasure seek on our way to and from swimming there, and there is a wonderful Adventure Lab in the village.Â
My first cache series, MY FAVORITE THINGS, fell together quite nicely in Fort Wayne (a wonderful Geocaching town), and it is in honor of my Dad, whose LP's of famous musicals delighted me as a child. The "Sound of Music" is also the first live performance to which he treated our family. And of course, it allowed me to include kittens!
Caches in this series: Whiskers on Kittens (replacement in review); Crisp Apple Strudels (WINLAKE and FTW); Schnitzel with Noodles; Girls in White Dresses; Brown Paper Packages; Copper Kettles; Woolen Mittens, Raindrops on Roses (new, in review)
Admin Notes:
Our caches are placed within a wide triangle of where we live (IN), work (MI), and play (IN, MI, and IL), and we'll visit often to maintain them. I realize bead bags can be a pain to open. Please don't stress, just do your best in the time you have, and I'll replace any damaged bags. Please have a pen handy, and please notify me if the cache needs immediate maintenance.
All of my caches have convenient parking; so far, only one requires a short walk from the parking lot, down a grassy hill. If someone in your party needs to stay in the vehicle, and there are open parking spaces nearby, they can see the location while sitting and watching the fun. Key: |=|=|=| represents a fence.
