Geocache Description:

This was the second-to-last cache in a series exploring facilties attributes!  There was wheelchair accessibility, plus parking, public transportation/picnic tables, drinking water, telephone/camping, public restrooms/food, and finally fuel nearby.  But now it's time for a cache that is stroller accessible...to a point.

There is technically a paved trail from the top of Scarborough Heights Park all the way down along the water to the most photographed section of the Scarborough Bluffs.  Can you traverse it with a stroller?  Yes.  Should you?  Not a chance.

Imagine the steep initial descent, wrestling not just with your knees but also a pram that wants to roll away to its doom.  The pavement is pitted and uneven, though this did not faze the three guys we observed zooming down on e-scooters when this cache was planted.  Of course, they would not have risked the muddy trail after a good rain, or during winter's snow and ice.

Now imagine pushing your stroller along the shoreline, noticing how the trail becomes less and less 'paved.'  You would leave it behind for the last 100 feet to this cache...the footing there is man-made but not exactly meant for wheels.  For your own safety, do not attempt it at night, in poor visibility, or in slippery conditions.

What if it was the height of summer and you decided to keep stroller-ing past the cache down to the end of the trail?  The view is lovely, and the TRCA has finally finished the new revetment there.  But oh, how you would regret the long trek back under the baking sun, with a possibly overheated and overtired child.  And then you'd have to make the steep, endurance-testing climb back up to civilization.  Would you even be able to rest along the way?  Not if your baby buggy was top-heavy, or light in the brakes.  Between panting gasps you would be questioning all...your life...decisions...

Don't get me wrong:  it's a beautiful stroll to this cache...just not with a stroller!

As with every other cache in this series, there is a trick to accessing the log.  Since the tricky thing is just resting in an otherwise easy-to-open container, this is one case where we will enforce the 'no signature = no find' rule and erase online logs accordingly.  Swap out yer TBs and swag, but please leave the rocks inside to help keep the cache steady against wind and waves.  Snap the lid all the way back on, tuck the cache way in, and pile some heavy camouflage in front.  Lots of muggles like to poke around here!
