Geocache Description:

This is a NEW and IMPROVED version of the original W&W cache! Folks who have done this hunt already are welcome to do it again. This time around, we have most of the same stops but a few new ones. The cache is now in a large ammo can and hidden in an entirely NEW area!

This hunt is a delightful multi-stage hunt through the streets of downtown Brevard. Print out this report to take with you as you walk around our town to collect digits which will be entered into the final cache coords. The final cache coords are listed below as letters. Please read the clues carefully and substitute the correct digits into the right spaces.

This cache hunt begins with waterfalls (sort of!) and ends at a complex where you are highly likely to spot white squirrels if you hang out for a while and wander the grounds!!

FINAL CACHE COORDINATES:

AB CD.EFG
HI JK.LMN

(1) Starting from the target coordinates listed at the top of this page, you should find yourself standing in front of an entertaining establishment with a name that should ring familiar with the cache's title.

Looking up at the establishment's sign, how many trees are to the LEFT of the moon and waterfall? Place the digit in space C.

How many faces do you find on the ticket booth? Place this digit in space A.

(2)With your back to front of the ticket booth, cross the street, turn right, and begin walking in an easterly direction. After crossing another street, begin looking on your left for an old-school barber shop! Peer inside this fading relic from the past and count the number of barber chairs. Subtract this number from 12 to have your answer for space H.

(3) Continue east up this same side of the street until you come to a lively old-time mountain music shop. Count the number of iron-work lamps above this store's awning. Subtract one from this number and place your answer in space M. These guys have kickin' jam sessions every Tuesday night free to the public!

(4) At the corner, turn right, cross the street. You should now be headed in a southerly direction. On the corner, you will see "The Coolest Toy Store in the World!" How many 2nd story windows does this store have that are facing South Broad Street? (Hint: There will probably be flags hanging from all of them.) Add 2 to this number and place your answer in space G. Go find the owner (he will be the one with the beanie on his head!) and say "Hello!"

(5) Continue walking south down this street and you will find a delicious European-style bakery. Look above the door to find their street address. Reverse these two numbers to fill the spaces J and K. If open, definitely try one of their croissants or take home a fresh-baked organic loaf of bread!

(6) Just next door you will see an old-time soda fountain. In the doorway, you will spot a ceiling fan overhead. Count the number of blades on the fan and then place that digit in space D. Awesome 50's tunes and delicious ice cream!

(7) Retrace your steps to the toy store at the corner. Cross the street heading over to the bistro on the corner. Walk down this street until you find a very nice art gallery with a "colorful canine" name. Count the number of letters in the first word of this gallery's name. Add 2 to this digit to fill in space B.

(8) Immediately next door, you will find a co-op art gallery owned and managed by a collective of local artists. What number do you find painted all over the door? (also included in the name and address of the gallery!) Subtract 5 from that digit to get your number for space I.

(9) Walk east a couple more doors down the street to find an awesome coffee shop. This place is a good social hangout in Brevard! How many tasty coffees are listed on the front glass window of the store? Place this number in space F.

(10) Finally, continue walking east down the sidewalk. You are heading for "The Land of Green". You will have pass the border of Mexico to find this slice of the Emerald Isle. Maybe you need a lucky 4 leaf clover to assure your success. Once you find the lively locale I speak of, walk inside to answer the remaining questions:

Upon entering, turn left to see the ancient crest hanging above the stone fireplace. Count the number of swords in the crest. Subtract 1 from that number and place your answer in space E.

Past the fireplace, you will see a large GUINNESS mirror on the wall. Find the year, this company was established and began brewing. Take the third digit of the year and place it in space L.

Finally, walk up to the bar, and find a sign hanging on the wall to the right of the bar advertising for lodging. WOAH! Can you believe the amount!? Place this digit in the final space N.

The final cache is a large ammo can stuffed with goodies! The final cache in the downtown Brevard area but the hiding spot is not well-known by many. Because of its somewhat "hard-to-get-to" locale and unique location, I have provided parking coordinates. Use these coords or you will be wandering through peoples' yards and neighborhoods all day long. DO NOT TRY TO CHEAT BY GOING STRAIGHT TO THESE COORDS, IT WILL BE WORTHLESS! YOU MUST COMPLETE THE HUNT AND FIND ALL DIGITS TO SUCCESSFULLY LOCATE THE CACHE.

FINAL CACHE PARKING COORDS:
35 14.180
82 43.680

p.s. To access the final cache location, you will be walking through some high grass for a short time, so you may want to wear long pants.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
